‘Velma’ Gets an Official Trailer Ahead of HBO Max Premiere

HBO Max’s new original animated series, “Velma,” has finally received an official trailer just one day before it makes its debut on the streaming platform. The series, which centers around the “Scooby-Doo” character Velma Dinkley, is set to premiere on HBO Max on January 12.

The new series, executive produced by Mindy Kaling, who also voices the Velma character for the show, is an adult animated comedy series telling the origin story of Velma and Mystery Inc. The show’s first season consists of 10 episodes. It follows Velma, Fred, Daphne, and Norville, AKA Shaggy, as they come together to try and solve a murder mystery involving one of their high school classmates.

The voice cast also includes Constance Wu as Daphne and Sam Richardson as Norville. Check out the official trailer below:
