It’s a new week, which means another wave of Funko Pop! figures has arrived for pre-order, and among this week’s pre-orders are Pop! figures inspired by John Carpenter’s 1982 film “The Thing” and HBO’s series adaptation of the video game “The Last of Us.”
The Thing
Fans of John Carpenter’s “The Thing” are getting two new Funko Pop! figures, which are slated to arrive in February 2026.
R.J. MacReady – $14.99
The first figure depicts R.J. MacReady holding a flare and a dynamite bundle, inspired by the scene in the film in which MacReady breaks into the storage room after being locked out and threatens the crew with dynamite.
Dog-Thing – $14.99
Joining MacReady is the infamous Dog-Thing, which is discovered in the sled dog kennels mid-assimilation.
While these aren’t the first Funko Pop! figures released featuring characters from “The Thing,” they’re the first two to be released outside of the Funko Fusion line, which ties in to the video game of the same name. Last year, as part of the Funko Fusion series, Funko released R.J. Macready with a flamethrower and the Thing in Spider Head and Blair forms.
The Last Of Us
For fans of HBO’s “The Last of Us,” Funko is releasing Pop! figures of Joel, Ellie, Tommy, and a Clicker, all slated for release on January 30, 2026.

A bloody variant of this Pop! is also being released exclusively by Entertainment Earth; however, as of this writing, the pre-order has already sold out and will not be released until January 2026.
