‘I Like Scary Movies’ Immersive Experience Returning to Los Angeles for a Fall Encore

I Like Scary Movies an immersive experience

Earlier this year the “I Like Scary Movies” Immersive Art Installation took Instagram by storm as horror fans snapped photos of themselves immersed in the worlds of iconic genre films The Shining, Beetlejuice, IT, A Nightmare On Elm Street, and The Lost Boys. Later this month, the experience is making an encore with some all-new Instagram-ready content, as well as some returning favorites.

Setting up at the HD Buttercup building, this Fall encore of “I Like Scary Movies” will take you back to The Shining where you can be enveloped into the infamous carpet from the Overlook hotel. Then wander through Beetlejuices graveyard on your way to the Netherworld Waiting Room. Feel the fear as you enter Freddy’s boiler room from A Nightmare On Elm Street before visiting Camp Crystal Lake in an all-new experience inspired by Friday the 13th. Finally, you’ll make your way to Pennywise’s lair from IT (2017).
