Following a successful launch on PC, indie publisher Firenut Games and solo developer José Manuel Conesa Hernández have announced that the chilling survival horror experience “Backrooms Level X” will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on February 19, 2026.
The console editions will launch at $9.99 and come fully loaded with the latest PC content updates. Players can expect new areas, fresh mechanics, and significant quality-of-life improvements right out of the gate.
“Backrooms Level X” is a first-person survival-horror experience that plunges players into an oppressive world of found-footage nightmares. Inspired by the mysterious 1986 Albuquerque incident—a chilling event captured on a long-lost VHS tape—the game blends psychological tension with a cryptic narrative.
