Indie Horror ‘Unsealed: The Mare’ Hits Consoles and PC This March

On Tuesday, Indie developer Gamhalla announced that “Unsealed: The Mare” will officially launch on March 10, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The game casts players as Vera, a woman trapped within a surreal dreamscape tied to her family’s tragic history. Central to the gameplay is the Focus Memory mechanic, which tasks players with locating and destroying cursed relics to reclaim lost fragments of Vera’s past. As doors unlock and hidden truths emerge, players must evade the Mare—a relentless entity that grows increasingly hostile as the nightmare intensifies.

“Announcing the release date for ‘Unsealed: The Mare’ marks a major milestone,” says Simon Andersson, Head of Horror at Gamhalla. “I’m excited for players to finally step into the nightmare this March.”

While Gamhalla is self-publishing the title on PC, they’ve partnered with Perp Games to bring the horror to consoles. The game is available to wishlist now on Steam and PlayStation.
