Set in the world of Stephen King’s “IT” universe, “IT: Welcome to Derry” is a prequel series based on King’s “IT” novel and expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films “IT” and “IT Chapter Two.” The series stars Taylour Paige (“Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F”), Jovan Adepo (“Babylon”), Chris Chalk (“Perry Mason”), James Remar (“Openheimer”), Stephen Rider (“Daredevil”), Madeleine Stowe (“Revenge”), and Rudy Mancuso (“The Flash”), with Bill Skarsgรฅrd reprising his role as Pennywise. A premiere date has not been announced for the series, but HBO has confirmed a release in October 2025.
