LVCRFT Releases Official Theme Song to Midsummer Scream 2023: ‘Scream! (For Halloween)’

Midsummer Scream, the world’s largest Halloween and horror convention, kicks off on July 28 at the Long Beach Convention Center. Ahead of the convention, Halloween hitmakers LVCRFT has debuted a theme song for the event, “Scream! (For Halloween)”, a bangin’ spookycore duet with The Remains (of DBone and The Remains). You can hear it now on the official “Midsummer Scream For Halloween Slaylist,” featuring more songs from this year’s guests and panelists.

In addition to the song, LVCRFT will have a presence at this year’s Midsummer Scream. Skeleton Sam, the group’s Halloween hype man, will be dancing at the Paranormal Pixie’s Pumpkin Patch and featured in the Poltergeists and Paramours X LVCRFT Fashion Show Saturday, July 29, and Sunday, July 30, at the Showfloor Stage. LVCRFT will also be setting up their Screaming Photo Booth (Booth 416).

Over the last four years, LVCRFT has released four albums that have garnered praise from the press and sync community. GQ declared them “a clear ancestor of iconic Halloween hits like ‘The Monster Mash’ & ‘Thriller!'” Paper Magazine proclaimed, “This musical coven of hitmakers wrote a perfect Halloween album.”

Their music has yielded partnerships with the “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” Season 3, Adam Sandler’s “Hubie Halloween,” “The L-Word” Halloween Special, Freeform’s annual 31 Nights of Halloween, Spirit Halloween stores nationwide, a 23-night DJ residency at Shaqtoberfest at the Queen Mary, soundtracking Haunt O’Ween, and more.

LVCRFT is the sinister spawn of spooky-obsessed hitmakers, united to create a year-round supply of hook-filled creepy pop bops that will keep bones tapping well beyond Halloween. The group is the brainchild of the multi-faceted trio – Evan “Kidd” Bogart, songwriter/creative executive responsible for Beyonce’s Grammy Award-winning “Halo” and Rhianna’s worldwide #1 “SOS;” Amanda “MNDR” Warner, the Electro-Pop pioneer who brought us Mark Ronson’s hit “Bang Bang Bang” and Flume’s “Like Water;” Grammy Award winning producer, engineer and songwriter Peter Wade whose credits include Jennifer Lopez, Martin Solveig, and Flume.
