Midsummer Scream Gets an Official Theme Song from Sean Keller and Chelsea Stardust

We’re just under three weeks out from Midsummer Scream 2022 and over the weekend “The Killer Sounds of Halloween” creator Sean Keller dropped an official theme song for the convention. Written and produced by Keller and his son Folsom, the all-new track features vocals from genre director Chelsea Stardust (“Satanic Panic”).

Like many of the tracks featured on Keller’s trilogy of “The Killer Sounds of Halloween” albums, the song has a vintage vibe and feels like it could have been pulled from a classic Halloween record. In the song, Stardust sings of some of the highlights of attending Midsummer Scream including the event’s Hall of Shadows, the Black Cat Lounge, and more.

The new song is a great way to get into the Midsummer Scream spirit ahead of this year’s event and you can download it for free from bandcamp.

Midsummer Scream returns to the Long Beach Convention Center July 29-31, 2022. Single-day, weekend, and Gold Bat VIP passes to this year’s event are available at midsummerscream.org.
