Midsummer Scream Announces Special 30th Anniversary Screening of Child’s Play With Writer/Director Tom Holland

Midsummer Scream has announced a special 30th-anniversary screening of the film Child’s Play with writer/director Tom Holland as part of it’s “Midsummer Scream After Dark” offerings for 2018.

The film will be screened in the “Screaming Room” from 8:15 PM – 10:15 PM during the conventions post-event party.  During the screening, Holland will be joined by horror journalists Sean Decker and Jack Ulrich and they’ll provide live commentary throughout the film.

Midsummer Scream After Dark is a post-event party taking place on Saturday, July 28 following day one of the convention.  The fun will take place from 8 PM-midnight and requires an additional ticket, which costs $15 and includes access to the special screening as well as all other party events, such as the costume ball, games, and more. Tickets to the event can be purchased on the Midsummer Scream website (Note: A General Admission ticket to Midsummer Scream is also required)

Attendees who purchase the Gold Bat Weekend Pass will gain free entry to the party along with the numerous other perks that come with being a Gold Bat pass carrier.
