Native American Inspired Horror ‘Lore’ Gets Digital Release

Indican Pictures has announced the digital release of the Native American inspired horror film Lore.

Influenced by the mythos of the Lakota Tribe, Lore tells the story of a young man who goes missing after encountering the evil from an ancient Native American legend during a camping trip. When his mother sets out to find him in a remote wilderness with the help of her estranged husband and a Native American guide, they encounter the same evil and their search turns into a fight for survival.

On the film’s origins, directors Christian Larsen and Brock Manwill said in a statement, “We were fortunate enough to have cast members from three different Native American nations…each of them brought authenticity and elevated our film in both performance and spirit.”

Lore stars stage actress Lyndsey Lantz, Max Lesser (My Best Friend’s Death), Sean Wei Mah (How the Fiddle Flows) and Oscar-nominated actor Eric Roberts.

Lore is available now through most digital platforms.
