NECA is Releasing New Figures Inspired by the Classic ‘The Munsters’ Television Series

In recent years, NECA has released several figures inspired by “The Munsters,” albeit Rob Zombie’s “The Munsters.” Now, NECA is taking it back to the original 1960s sitcom with a pair of new figures announced last week during San Diego Comic-Con. Arriving in early 2026, NECA has unveiled Ultimate figures of Grandpa Munster and Herman Munster.

Ultimate Herman Munster – $41.99

The Ultimate Herman Munster action figure is in a 7-inch scale and is fully articulated, and includes multiplate interchangeable heads featuring the likeness of actor Fred Gwynne. Plus, interchangeable hands, a napkin, a plate of pancakes, a knife, a fork, a lunchbox, a toy Herman, and an iron bar.

Ultimate Grandpa Munster – $41.99

The 7-inch-scale Ultimate Grandpa Munster figure comes dressed in his signature outfit and features full articulation. This collectible figure features multiple interchangeable heads, each bearing the likeness of actor Al Lewis, as well as interchangeable hands, a soft goods cape, several potions, and a shovel.

Each figure is sold separately and comes in collector-friendly window box packaging with an opening front flap.

Although it aired for only two seasons, from 1964 to 1966, “The Munsters” has become a beloved sitcom. The series centered on the Munster family and satirized traditional American family life through the lens of a monstrous yet good-natured household.
