On Saturday, Netflix hosted its annual global fan event, Tudum, at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. The two-hour event was live streamed on Netflix and featured several exciting reveals, including the official teaser for Guillermo del Toro’s “Frankenstein” and the release dates for “Stranger Things 5.” But all of this led to an epic Wednesday-themed finale that featured the first six minutes of season two and an Addams Family medley performance from Lady Gaga.
The season two sneak peek opens with Wednesday, played by Jenna Ortega, sharing how she was captured by a serial killer and is being held in his basement. She then recounts the events from six weeks prior, where she went on the hunt for one of her past obsessions, a serial killer who was given the moniker The Kansas City Scalper. She hunts the killer down with her newly mastered psychic abilities, only to nearly become his next victim.
“Wednesday” season two will be released in two parts, with Part 1 premiering on August 6, 2025, and Part 2 premiering on September 3.
