Netflix Offers Up Some Halloween Season Viewing Suggestions with Netflix & Chills

There is a ton of content slated to air this Halloween season. We’ve already gotten Halloween lineups from SYFY, HDNET Movies, Freeform, Food Network, and Travel Channel, but now Netflix is teasing some titles you might be interested in watching as well. Mixing a selection of horror films, series and all-new spooky originals, Netflix has about 20 titles you may want to check out over the next month that they’ve showcased in a recent video called “Netflix and Chills.”

The spooky lineup includes five new Netflix Originals that will debut throughout the month of October, including:

  • Hold the Dark (Sept. 28) – In the grim Alaskan winter, a naturalist hunts for wolves blamed for killing a local boy, but he soon finds himself swept into a chilling mystery.
  • Malevolent (Oct. 5) – A brother-sister team who fake paranormal encounters for cash get more than they bargained for when a job at a haunted estate turns very, very real.
  • “The Haunting of Hill House” (Oct. 12) – This horror drama series is a modern reimagining of Shirley Jackson’s classic 1959 novel.
  • Apostle (October 12) – In 1905, a drifter on a dangerous mission to rescue his kidnapped sister tangles with a sinister religious cult on an isolated island.
  • “Haunted” (Oct. 19) – In this series real people sit down with friends and family to share true stories of terrifying events that continue to haunt them.
