New Teaser for ‘Stranger Things 4’ Promises ‘The Best Spring Break Ever’

Netflix has kicked off its 2021 Stranger Things Day celebration with the release of an all-new teaser for season four of “Stranger Things.”

The new teaser reveals that Eleven and the Byers’ settled down in California following their move from Hawkins at the end of season three, where Eleven has tried to live the life of a typical teenage girl.

The teaser plays to a voiceover of Eleven narrating a letter to Mike where she talks about how she’s “adapted” to everyday life but is looking forward to spring break when she can see him again. The letter concludes with Eleven promising, “We will have the best spring break ever.” What follows is the typical sorrow and action we have grown to expect from “Stranger Things” in recent seasons, but dare I say it, amped up to eleven… Concluding with scenes of gunfire, men in black, the military, and a massive explosion.

The teaser’s description on YouTube reads 004/004. The previous teaser’s description read 003/004, which at the time I thought might be in reference to other “gifted” children that were part of Hawkins Lab and Dr. Brenner’s program. However, with this fourth season four teaser, I now realize that these are just tied to the teaser number, suggesting this is the fourth and final teaser we’ll see for the upcoming season. I forgot that the previous teasers featured 002 and 001.

Netflix has more “Stranger Things” fun planned throughout the day, with other social media drops scheduled for 9 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, 2 PM, and 4 PM. For full details on this year’s lineup of events, check out the complete 2021 Stranger Things Day lineup.
