New Trailer Arrives for Upcoming Horror Film ‘Weapons’

On Monday, Warner Bros. released a second trailer for the upcoming horror film “Weapons.”

From New Line Cinema and Zach Cregger, the creator of “Barbarian,” “Weapons” is an all-new horror/thriller that tells of when all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at precisely the same time, leaving a community left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance.

The film stars Josh Brolin (“Avengers: Endgame”), Julia Garner (“The Assistant”), Alden Ehrenreich (“Solo: A Star Wars Story”), Austin Abrams (“Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”), with Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan.

Cregger directs from his own screenplay and produces alongside Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D. Lifshitz, and Raphael Margules. Michelle Morrissey and Josh Brolin are executive producers.

“Weapons” will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and released in theaters and IMAX nationwide on August 8, 2025.
