The acclaimed horror-thriller “Weapons,” from New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures, will make its global streaming debut exclusively on HBO Max on Friday, October 24, 2025. A linear debut on HBO will follow on Saturday, October 25 at 8 p.m.
Zach Cregger, the creator of the hit “Barbarian,” helms “Weapons,” directing from his own screenplay. The chilling story centers on a small community thrown into chaos when nearly an entire class of children mysteriously vanishes at 2:17 a.m., leaving only one child behind and the rest of the town desperate to uncover who or what is responsible.
The film stars Josh Brolin (“Avengers: Endgame”), Julia Garner (“The Assistant”), Alden Ehrenreich (“Solo: A Star Wars Story”), Austin Abrams (“Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”), with Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan.
“Weapons,” which debuted in theaters on August 8, has been a massive critical and commercial hit, grossing over $267 million worldwide and earning a Certified Fresh 93% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
