On Wednesday, Netflix debuted the official teaser for “Stranger Things 5,” the highly anticipated final chapter in the hit Netflix series.
The teaser showcases the characters fans have fallen in love with over the last four seasons as they prepare for one last battle against Vecna and the creatures from The Upside Down, as well as newcomer Linda Hamilton (the “Terminator” franchise), who joined for the show’s epic finale.
“Stranger Things 5” is set in the fall of 1987, with the town of Hawkins under military quarantine due to the opening of the Rifts at the end of “Stranger Things 4.” Vecna has vanished, and Eleven has been forced into hiding. With the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaching, the dread of a final battle is looming, and our heroes will have to stand together as a whole party, one last time.
The final season of the show will be released in three parts, with Volume 1 set to premiere on November 26, 2025, Volume 2 debuting on Christmas Day, and the show’s finale premiering on New Year’s Eve.
