Official Trailer Arrives for ‘Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’

Searchlight Pictures officially debuted the trailer for the much-anticipated sequel to “Ready or Not,” titled “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come.”

Returning director duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett’s “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come” picks up shortly after the original film’s bloody conclusion. Samara Weaving reprises her role as Grace, who awakens after surviving the Le Domas family’s deadly ritual only to discover she has been forced into the next, more sinister level of the nightmarish game. This time, she is joined by her estranged sister Faith, played by Kathryn Newton (“Lisa Frankenstein”). Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Four rival families are hunting her for the throne, and whoever wins rules it all.

Joining the sequel’s ensemble cast are Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Nรฉstor Carbonell, David Cronenberg, Elijah Wood, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, Varun Saranga, and Daniel Beirne.

“Ready or Not 2” is slated for a theatrical release on April 11, 2026.

In 2019’s “Ready or Not,” newlywed Grace is made to participate in a bizarre family tradition on her wedding night by her wealthy, eccentric in-laws, the Le Domas family. Grace draws the card for “Hide-and-Seek,” which, according to an ancient family pact, means the family must hunt and sacrifice her before sunrise to prevent a devastating supernatural curse. The film becomes a bloody, darkly comedic fight for survival as Grace, still in her wedding dress, battles her desperate in-laws within their vast mansion.
