Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party Coming to Disney California Adventure Park

Well, well, well, what have we here? Looks like Disney’s conjured up some new fun with Oogie Boogie for 2019 at Disney California Adventure Park with the announcement of a new Halloween party: Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party.

The new, separate-ticket event, will treat guests to a number of new family-friendly, exclusive Halloween experiences on select nights in September and October.

Enjoy the all-new “World of Color” show “Villainous!” which features a Halloween tale about a young girl named Shelley Marie and her journey exploring the villainous side of Disney characters. Through her unforgettable journey she’ll uncover that deep down, there’s a little villain in all of us.

During Oogie Boogie Bash, Redwood Creek Challenge Trail will be transformed into a world of Disney villains unlike anything seen before. The trail will be turned into an ethereal dreamlike environment where you’ll experience a series of scenes, each creating a hauntingly beautiful dream-space of color, sound, light and shadows.

The event will also feature all-new “Treat Trails,” where guests can collect goodies along trails featuring eerie music, themed decor and appearances by villains like Oogie Boogie and the Mad Hatter.

Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in an interactive “Descendants” inspired dance party called “DescenDance” in the Backlot area of Hollywood Land. Inspired by the popular Disney Channel “Descendants” movies, as the DescenDance begins, a spell is cast, summoning the greatest dance crew from the Isle of the Lost who will lead the night’s festivities and teach guests how to dance along to the biggest songs from the “Descendants” films.

For the first time ever, Disney California Adventure will be home to the popular “Frightfully Fun Parade.” Join the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow as he leads the procession followed by a cavalcade of some of your favorite Disney characters and villains.

Finally, guests will be treated to “Mickey’s Trick and Treat Show,” a new interactive stage production at the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land. Join Mickey Mouse and his pals as they throw a one-of-a-kind Halloween party featuring dancing, not-so-frightening scary-tales, and more.

And of course this is all on top of trick or treating, character encounters, and the spooky themed decor Disney Halloween events are known for.

Oogie Boogie Bash 2019 tickets will go on sale to Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club members and Disney Visa card holders on April 23, 2019. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on April 30.
