Mezco Toyz has opened pre-orders for a new Mezco Designer Series Mega Scale 15-inch doll inspired by Rudy from the 1988 film “Killer Klowns From Outer Space.”
Standing tall at 15 inches, Rudy brings the full, creepy carnival energy of the cult classic directly into your collection. This cosmic Klown is outfitted in a screen-accurate clown suit with bold colors, ruffled trim, and grotesquely sculpted alien features. Every eerie detail is captured, from his crooked grin to his signature wild, multicolored hair.
The doll is also loaded with six sound effects, featuring low, guttural Klown laughs and a medley of classic clown-style effects, including a horn honk, rubber chicken squeak, cartoonish hammer hit, and the wacky “wanh wanh” effect.
The MDS Mega Scale Rudy comes packaged in a collector-friendly window box and is available for pre-order now for $99.99. The doll is estimated to arrive in July 2026.
Released in 1988, “Killer Klowns From Outer Space” tells the story of a mysterious spaceship disguised as a circus tent that lands in the small town of Crescent Cove. Teenagers Mike and Debbie discover it’s the base for an invasion of grotesque, alien ‘Klowns’ who use bizarre, circus-themed weaponry—such as ray guns that trap humans in cotton candy cocoons—to harvest the townspeople for food. The teens must team up with a friendly police officer and two zany ice cream vendors to fight the ridiculous and terrifying creatures.
