Critical Reflex, the publisher behind “Mouthwashing” and “Buckshot Roulette,” has just debuted the new psyche-melting horror experience developed by Housefire Games, “Eclipsium.”
“Eclipsium” is a first-person psychological horror game where you play as the desperate Wanderer. In it, you’re surrounded by a ravenous, all-encompassing darkness. The world – and its comforting, digestible norms – is being torn asunder. Now, all that remains is Her. She emits a curious, pale light. It’s your only way forward. Your last ember of humanity needs you. Hopefully, the horrors you’ll encounter will be worth it in the end.
“Eclipsium” drops you into a nightmare-fueled world, featuring a rich story that drips with body horror and emotional weight. Venture through a variety of unique locations, handcrafted with a lo-fi, dreamlike, eye-bursting art style unlike anything you’re prepared for and brought to life with an original score of over 20 intense, custom-written tracks.
“Eclipsium” is now available on Steam for $12.99, but has a 10% discount for the game’s launch, running through October 3, 2025.
