Ryan Coogler’s Academy Award-winning vampire masterpiece “Sinners” is officially bringing its Mississippi mayhem to life. Universal Studios has announced that a brand-new haunted house inspired by the film will anchor the lineup for Halloween Horror Nights 2026 at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
The bi-coastal terror kicks off Friday, August 28, in Orlando and Thursday, September 3, in Hollywood.
The 2025 film cemented its status as a modern horror classic, becoming the highest-grossing original horror film in history while earning a record-breaking 16 Academy Award nominations and four Oscar wins. Written, directed, and produced by Coogler alongside Proximity Media’s Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian, “Sinners” follows twin brothers Smoke and Stack in the 1930s Mississippi Delta who return to their hometown to open a juke joint for their community. But celebration turns to panic as a troupe of unrelenting vampires crashes the opening night, threatening to violently curse the guests in a brutal battle for survival.

Watching it come to life on this scale has been really special for all of us.”
The upcoming haunted house will transport guests directly into the doomed Club Juke. Visitors will have to navigate the venue as the nefarious, red-eyed vampires Remmick, Bert, and Joan unleash their insatiable hunger.
Along the way, fans will encounter fan-favorite characters lifted straight from the screen—including Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline, and Cornbread—in a deadly struggle between the twins and the undead. Universal creatives are promising a relentless experience, teasing that “the terror will only relent once the sun rises.”

This year’s event runs for a record 42 nights, featuring 8 haunted houses, Terror Tram, and multiple scare zones. Tickets include General Admission, the Early Access Ticket, which provides entry to select haunted houses beginning at 5:30 p.m., Frequent Fear Pass and Ultimate Fear Pass, which enable guests to experience the scares again and again. The Day/Night Ticket, After 2 P.M. Day/Night Ticket, Universal Express Ticket, and R.I.P Tour will all include access to the new “Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift” coaster.
Universal Orlando
Celebrating its milestone 35th year, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando will run for 48 select nights through November 1. The event will feature 10 all-new haunted houses, outrageous live entertainment, terrifying scare zones and street experiences. Various ticketing packages are available now through the Universal Orlando website, including tickets to Premium Scream Night, which returns for two event nights this year – August 27 and October 19.
All-new merchandise inspired by the Sinners house is hitting shelves today at both park locations and online at shopUniversal.com. The initial wave includes a limited-release T-shirt, a hat, an acrylic figure, and a collectible “infernal carnival” display to track house announcements leading up to opening night.
