‘School Spirits’ Sets Season 3 Premiere Date; Jennifer Tilly Joins Cast

The hit original drama series “School Spirits” has announced its season three return for January 28, 2026, on Paramount+.

The upcoming season promises to plunge Maddie Nears (Peyton List) and her friends into a darker mystery as the boundary between the living and the dead grows dangerously thin. After her harrowing journey back to life, Maddie must navigate terrifying visions while protecting both worlds. Meanwhile, Simon (Kristian Ventura)—now trapped in the afterlife—becomes obsessed with the historical scars buried beneath the school.

The central questions for the new season are high-stakes: Why is the body count at Split River High so high? And what, exactly, was Mr. Martin’s warning about?

Peyton List returns to lead the ensemble as Maddie Nears, joined by series regulars Kristian Ventura as Simon Elroy, Spencer MacPherson as Xavier Baxter, Kiara Pichardo as Nicole Herrera, Sarah Yarkin as Rhonda, Nick Pugliese as Charley, Rainbow Wedell as Claire Zomer, Josh Zuckerman as Mr. Martin, Ci Hang Ma as Quinn, Miles Elliot as Yuri, and Milo Manheim as Wally Clark.

This season introduces a heavy hitter to the guest cast: Jennifer Tilly (“Chucky”) joins as Dr. Hunter-Price. Other newcomers include Ari Dalbert (Kyle) and Erika Swayze (Livia).

Returning guest stars include Maria Dizzia (Sandra), Patrick Gilmore (Mr. Anderson), Alex Zahara (Principal Hartman), Ian Tracey (Sheriff Baxter), Jess Gabor (Janet), and Zack Calderon (Diego).

Produced by Paramount Television Studios, “School Spirits” was created by Nate Trinrud & Megan Trinrud, who are co-showrunners and executive producers on the series. Oliver Goldstick (“Pretty Little Liars”) also serves as co-showrunner and executive producer. List serves as an executive producer on the series.
