A new “Scooby-Doo” animated series is in development from Warner Bros, according to Variety. The news comes out of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, which is being held this week in France.

The new series, which is being described as a spin-off, is titled “Go-Go Mystery Machine” and follows Scooby and Shaggy in Japan.

While visiting Japan on the ultimate foodie adventure, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo unwittingly unleash hundreds of mischievous mythical monsters that are now causing trouble all over the country. Scooby turns to his uncle, Daisuke-Doo, and magical friend Etsuko, and gadget wiz Toshiro to help solve the mystery and catch the monsters.

The new series is in the works for Cartoon Network, though a release window was not announced.
