Season 3 Return of ‘Chucky’ Announced at SYFY, USA, and Peacock

The season three return of “Chucky” has finally been announced, with the series returning to USA and SYFY on October 4. New episodes will stream the next day on Peacock.

The show’s namesake, Chucky, took the stage at a press conference to share the news with a room full of “dipshits” in a video shared on social media. In the video, the press lauds questions at the killer doll as he lauds insults back, with the only detail shared around the upcoming season being that in season three, “D.C. is going to get chucked up.” Chucky ends the press conference in typical Chucky fashion, carrying out a murderous act on a reporter who asks a “shitty question” about “too many doll movies.”

“Chucky” is the continuation of the iconic horror film franchise and chronicles the murderous escapades of the notorious killer doll. In the T.V. series, Chucky crosses paths with archenemies, old allies, and new prey as he seeks to inspire fear and mayhem wherever he goes. After his diabolical plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals was foiled in season one, Chucky now seeks revenge on those he holds responsible: surviving teens Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), along with his ex Tiffany, now his sworn enemy. Meanwhile, can “Jevon” make it as a couple in the face of adversity at their new Catholic school, not to mention a brand-new onslaught of terror from the demon doll?

“Chucky” Season 3 returns on SYFY and USA Network on October 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, streaming next day on Peacock. Campaign posters in the video also encourage fans to text “Chucky” to (201) 500-3347 to get updates from Chucky about the upcoming season.
