Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the first teaser for “Remain,” a supernatural thriller marking an unprecedented collaboration between best-selling romance novelist Nicholas Sparks and twist-master filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan.
Slated for a Feb. 5, 2027 theatrical release, the film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Tate Gordon, a reclusive architect who relocates to a small coastal town for a project. Gordon soon becomes entangled with a mysterious young woman who pulls him out of his shell and into the center of a deadly mystery that hangs over the town.
Phoebe Dynevor, Ashley Walters, Julie Hagerty, and Jay O. Sanders round out the main cast.
Shyamalan directs from his own screenplay based on a story he co-developed with Sparks. The film is produced by Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock, and Theresa Parks, with Sparks serving as executive producer.
