Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group Announces the Return of Five Fan-Favorite Halloween Events

The Halloween haunt season is upon us, and Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group announced the highly anticipated return of five fan-favorite Halloween events in Jacksonville, Phoenix, Nashville & Chicago this week.

13th Floor Haunted House

In Jacksonville, Thirteenth Floor announced the return of 13th Floor Haunted House, promising an uncanny Halloween experience that will take visitors on a gut-wrenching ride of thrills and psychological horror.

This year’s haunted experience includes fan-favorite and reimagined mazes and attractions, including Chop House, All Hallows Eve, and Legends of the Deep. Additionally, guests will be able to partake in various interactive and immersive five-minute mini escape games and axe throwing, both great for groups who want a Halloween-themed challenge. 13th Floor guests will also be able to indulge in on-site food trucks, including the Bearded Chef, Jacksonville’s premier brunch food truck, and SoulFood Smagicians.

The event will open to the public on Saturday, September 17, and run on select nights through Halloween. General Admission tickets are on sale now, starting at $19.99. For more information, visit 13thfloorjacksonville.com.

13th Floor Phoenix

In Phoenix, Thirteenth Floor announced that 13th Floor Phoenix would return on Saturday, September 24, and feature two all-new attractions: Midnight Manie and Daywalker.

In Midnight Mania, a masked slasher stalks groups of curious explorers who have entered a condemned house, hoping to find a good scare. What they find is more than they bargained for. The Midnight Maniac Cult is resurrecting the dead and just found some fresh sacrifices!

Daywalker is a new vampire-themed maze that follows the story of The Daywalker, an ancient vampire who has risen to rule over every warm-blooded being on earth and is looking to quench his endless thirst.

Guests will have the option also to experience Phobia: a highly physical experience that will bring guests into the maze in complete darkness – relying solely on their sense of sound, smell, and touch to make their way through physical challenges. While staff will not touch guests, this interactive experience will require guests to use their hands to guide their way, walk, duck, step over, and squeeze through strange spaces.

“We’re thrilled to bring 13th Floor back to Phoenix for another season,” stated Christopher Stafford, CEO and Founding Partner of Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group. “Guests can expect our most terrifying experience yet – and we can’t wait to have them coming back for more!”

13th Floor Phoenix will be open on select nights through Halloween. General Admission tickets are on sale now, starting at $19.99. For more information, visit https://13thflooraz.com/.

Nashville Nightmare

In Nashville, Thirteenth Floor announced the 2022 return of Nashville’s premiere Halloween event, Nashville Nightmare, returning to Madison Square for another season of fan-favorite scares and all-new immersive attractions.

Guests can expect the return of fan-favorite maze Horror High — which previously featured the return of Roxanne, the cheer captain who went missing, for a bloody vengeance along with her summoned demons as she claimed the halls of Horror High as her playing field — along with new immersive attractions that include Midnight Mortuary, Cursed: Legends of The Deep, and Vector Research. Guests can also expect to get in the Halloween spirit with various additional spirit-filled attractions, including Bar Nightmare for 21+ patrons to enjoy spooky libations before or after experiencing the haunted houses, mini escape games, an Egyptian laser maze, and more.

Nashville Nightmare returns on Friday, September 16, and will be open on select nights through Halloween. General Admission tickets are on sale now, beginning at $19.99. For more information visit https://nashvillenightmare.com/

Chicago

In Chicago, Thirteenth Floor announced the return of not one but two Halloween events with 13th Floor Chicago and The Old Joliet Haunted Prison.

13th Floor Chicago

13th Floor Chicago will return to Schiller Park on September 10 with two new haunts.

“13th Floor Chicago is back in a big way! Two seamless attractions brimming with horrifyingly innovative new scares and jaw-dropping sets!” commented General Manager Bryan Kopp.

The two new attractions, Outcast Carnival and All Hallows Eve will take guests through an intense, fear-inducing experience, unlike anything 13th Floor has done before.

At Outcast Carnival, guests will enter the world of a failed carnival where the sideshow performers shunned by society have taken to the sewers for shelter. After years of isolation, the performers have become rabid and feed on anything that wanders into their domain.

In All Hallows Eve, a cursed group of undead trick-or-treaters rises from their shallow graves in search of blood, guts, and candy. With All Hallows Eve upon us, the fall spirit infects others, and their numbers grow.

Guests will also be able to partake in various mini escape games and indulge in different on-site local food trucks. Of age, patrons will be able to imbibe cocktails and beer from Hala Kahiki and Short Fuse.

General Admission tickets are on sale now, beginning at $19.99. For more information, visit https://13thfloorchicago.com/.

The Old Joliet Haunted Prison

The Old Joliet Haunted Prison will also return for the 2022 season, again taking over the abandoned Old Joliet Prison with more scares than ever before. The cult favorite Halloween event will feature two main attractions, The Abominations and Tormented.

  • The Abominations: Dormant for centuries, these tragic beings hunger for the companionship of living flesh. Cursed with a terrible hunger, they cannot help but feast upon the innocent souls they capture, condemning everyone to eternal suffering. Beware, for the Abominations have returned.
  • Tormented: Rageful after suffering atrocities at the hands of the paranormal scientists, The Condemned seek to lure others to their eternal suffering as revenge. No one can escape their phantom grasp as they dwell in the after-life, TORMENTED!

Guests can also partake in various mini interactive and immersive escape games, indulge in different on-site local food trucks, and enjoy spooky libations (21+) and concessions at The Commissary before or after experiencing the haunted house.

General Admission tickets are on sale now, beginning at $19.99. For more information, visit https://hauntedprison.com/.
