This week, 20th Century Studios debuted the chilling trailer and poster for “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle,” a hauntingly modern twist on the classic film. The psychological thriller, directed by Michelle Garza Cervera (“Huesera: The Bone Woman”), will premiere exclusively on Hulu on October 22, 2025.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead (“10 Cloverfield Lane”) stars as Caitlin Morales, an upscale suburban mom who brings a new nanny, Polly Murphy (Maika Monroe, “It Follows”), into her home, only to discover she is not the person she claims to be.
“The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” also stars Raúl Castillo (“Smile 2”), Martin Starr (“This Is the End”), Mileiah Vega, Riki Lindhome (“Knives Out”), and Shannon Cochran (“The Ring”).
Micah Bloomberg wrote the film based on a screenplay by Amanda Silver. The producers are Michael Schaefer, Mike LaRocca, and Ted Field, and the executive producers are Michael Napoliello, Maria Frisk, and Seth William Meier.
