If you follow any spooky news about Wendy’s on the internet, one of the most recent things that seems to be circulating about the fast food chain is an alleged collaboration with Netflix’s “Wednesday.” Unfortunately, Wendy’s has been mum on the topic, and a lot of the leaks appear to be disappearing, likely at the request of Wendy’s or Netflix. But while that rumor mill swirls on that, one of my This Week In Eek! readers tipped me off to some spooky Wendy’s news that can be confirmed: Frosty Frights will be returning to Wendy’s for the 2025 spooky season!
Frosty Frights made their debut during the 2024 Halloween season. The Wendy’s kids meal toys turned the iconic Wendy’s Frosty into classic monsters with 11 different characters to collect, including Franken Frosty, Frosty Bite, Coolie Ghoulie, Brrr Beast, and Cold Spell. Wendy’s even capped off the season with a special glow-in-the-dark Bone Chiller Frosty Frights figure, which was available exclusively in the “Kidults” Boo! Bag meal.

So, how do I know Frosty Frights are returning? Tucked away at the bottom of the kids meal toys page on Wendys.com is a little teaser for Frosty Frights that says:
“Heads up little ghouls and goblins… Come see us again because the return of Frosty® Frights will be here just in time for spooky season.”
Since it is just a tease, we don’t know precisely when the Frosty Frights toys will be returning to Wendy’s, but in 2024 they arrived in restaurants at the beginning of September and were available at participating U.S. Wendy’s locations through Halloween, so we’ll likely see more about these little guys very soon!
