What To Expect from All Hallows Geek in 2019

Can you believe we’re already nine days into 2019? After more or less taking two weeks off from everything to enjoy the holidays with my family I’m back in the saddle and ready to take on the new year in full force. The last year I spent a lot of time experimenting with content types, content mediums, and topics and taking some inspiration from Geeks Who Eat, I thought I’d share with you what some of my plans are for 2019.

Reviews

I’ve shied away from reviews from the beginning, mainly because I felt that the horror film space was already flooded with reviews from people who have been doing it longer and do it really well. That said, I realize there aren’t a lot of people doing it from the All Hallows Geek angle, meaning most of them are from die hard horror fans who eat, sleep, and breathe horror and cinema. I think I could bring that middle ground review to horror movies, games, comics and the like that aren’t coming from someone who is so deeply entrenched in the industry.

Interviews

Ever since I started All Hallows Geek I’ve had a list of people I wanted to try and interview. I’ve sat on that list in hopes of saving it for when I launch the All Hallows Geek Podcast, which I hope to finally launch later this year (fingers crossed). But in the meantime I am going to start tapping some of the folks I wanted to chat with and see about getting interviews out in other formats to talk with them about how they got into the Halloween lifestyle and what they are currently working on and consuming to keep it creepy.

Video

Video is a medium I had hoped to tap into more last year, but for one reason or another never did. This year you can expect to see more video content on YouTube as well as Instagram. On YouTube I’ll likely be focusing on reaction videos to trailers, movies, etc. while Instagram will continue to focus on events, spooky finds, and day-to-day interactions.

These are some of the bigger things you can expect from All Hallows Geek in 2019, but there is bound to be more as the year goes on. I’ll continue to share content on all the creepy, geeky goodness you’ve come to expect from me over the last couple of years and a lot more, so be sure you’re following me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to make sure you don’t miss anything. And of course, if there is anything you would like to see more of, feel free to give me a shout and let me know!
