An Animated Michael Jackson Halloween Special Is Headed To CBS This Fall

Last month we learned that Michael Jackson’s Thriller is headed to theaters this summer in 3D, but apparently, that’s not the only thing the Jackson estate has been working on to get folks in the Halloween spirit.  Today, CBS announced a new one-hour animated special to be aired this fall titled, “Michael Jackson’s Halloween.”

Details are slim at this point, but the special will apparently feature Jackson’s music as the film’s soundtrack and feature the voice talents of Christine Baranski, Kiersey Clemons, Alan Cumming, George Eads, Grad Garrett, Lucy Liu, Jim Parsons and Lucas Till.

The story will follow millennials (define that as you wish) Vincent (Lucas Till) and Victoria (Kiersey Clemons), who meet “accidentally” on Halloween night and find themselves, along with Ichabod the dog, at a mysterious hotel located at 777 Jackson Street called This Place Hotel.  Once inside, Vincent and Victoria are sent on an unexpected adventure of personal discovery, culminating in a spectacular dance finale featuring an animated Michael Jackson.

More details are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
