Demo Arrives for Upcoming Co-Op Game Zombie Hamsters

Zombie Hamsters

A playable demo has officially arrived for Zombie Hamsters, the chaotic four-player online co-op action game. First announced back in April, players are finally getting their first shot at unleashing some furry, undead fury as tiny, fluffy, and fiercely hungry hamsters.

Instead of surviving the outbreak, Zombie Hamsters puts you in charge of the horde with a mission to lead a chaotic uprising and break out of a top-secret laboratory. Squads can tackle the breakout by choosing one of two distinct paths: you can either unleash absolute chaos by infecting the lab staff and turning the facility into ground zero, or take the stealthy route by coordinating with your team to navigate narrow ventilation shafts right under the guards’ noses.

Escape is no easy feat, though. The lab is packed with environmental hazards and mutated biological curiosities that are even hungrier than you are. To survive, you’ll need to gnaw, push, and utilize unique mutations—special abilities that can be chained together to solve complex, physics-based puzzles and bypass security.

The Zombie Hamsters demo is available to download now on Steam, with the full global release scheduled for 2027.
