Late last month, horror-metal band Ice Nine Kills debuted “Play Dead,” an all-new track written specifically for the 10th anniversary of the hit asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight. The music video expanded on the band’s ongoing cinematic “INKverse,” recruiting skateboard legend Tony Hawk, Devon Sawa (“Idle Hands”), Krsy Fox (“Terrifier 3”), and the Dead by Daylight dev team for the ride. That video left fans hanging on a “to be continued”—and on Friday, the band finally dropped part two.
Picking up immediately where the first video left off, the star-studded crew is seen scoping out horror props inside the Behaviour Interactive offices. Unsurprisingly, all is not as it seems. When one member of the group stays behind while the rest head to the 10th-anniversary party, absolute carnage unfolds. The twist? The entire bloodbath is captured on a livestream, leaving viewers to think the horror is just part of the anniversary celebration.
