‘The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only Live’ Concert Hits AMC+ This Sunday

“The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only Live,” the standing-room-only concert that electrified New York City’s iconic Beacon Theatre earlier this summer, is heading to AMC+ on Sunday, Aug. 23.

The special features original songs by series composer Daniel Hart, performed live by star Sam Reid in character as the brat prince.

“The Vampire Lestat” follows Lestat (Reid) on an electric multi-city tour while he’s haunted by “muses” from his wild and rebellious past. As his band’s popularity and star power rise, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.

Alongside Reid, the series stars Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Sheila Atim, Delainey Hayles, and Jennifer Ehle. Mark Johnson executive produces alongside showrunner Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice.

“The Vampire Lestat” and the previous two seasons of “Interview with the Vampire” are currently streaming on AMC+. A fourth season, “The Queen of the Damned,” was recently announced at San Diego Comic-Con and is in development.
