Firenut Games and Digital Dreams released a new gameplay trailer Wednesday for “Baptiste,” an upcoming psychological survival horror game launching this fall on consoles and PC.
The new trailer sets the stage for the reality-blurring journey that awaits in Baptiste, offering a glimpse of the game’s cast of characters and the eerie, isolated mansion players will explore as they face off against supernatural forces and their own inner demons in a fight for survival.
At the center of the narrative-driven adventure is Tom, a teenager who unlocks an unsettling doll from its display case, triggering a fear-soaked journey through a fractured reality. Following a family tragedy, Tom and his mother, Sara, move to Jagged Shore Cliff for a fresh start. Instead, they discover a dusty cabinet containing Baptiste—a cursed doll bearing a grim warning: “Never release this from its glass prison.”
Drawing inspiration from classic horror lore like Annabelle and R.L. Stine’s “Night of the Living Dummy”—as well as psychological gaming hits like P.T., Layers of Fear, and Outlast—Baptiste prioritizes atmospheric tension and emotional depth over cheap jump scares. Gameplay blends environmental exploration, clue gathering, and puzzle-solving as players unravel the dark secrets behind the titular doll and a family’s descent into madness.
Baptiste launches this fall on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
