Rondo Horror Award-nominated composer Sam Haynes has released his 14th Halloween album, “The Midnight Show,” bringing a heavy blend of gothic synth, industrial beats, and alternative electronic soundscapes to the spookiest time of the year.
The 15-track album, which debuted Sept. 28, showcases Haynes’ signature haunting composition style while introducing fresh guest talent. The release features vocal performances from Maxy B and Cleopatra The Alchemist, along with guitar work from Gary Bennett.
Maxy B leads two tracks, “It’s Halloween” and “Halloween Dance,” while Cleopatra The Alchemist delivers dark, unsettling lyrics on “Covered in Flies,” described as a sinister gothic love song.
Drawing inspiration from legendary acts like Depeche Mode, The Cramps, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and The Prodigy, “Midnight Show” weaves techno, synthwave, and industrial sounds into an eerie soundtrack designed for Halloween playlists and haunt atmospheric scoring.
