On Thursday, Nickelodeon announced the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. Grammy Award-winning, multiplatinum global superstar Tyla will host this year’s event. It will be simulcast live on Saturday, June 21, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) across Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. channel, MTV2, and CMT. The news also included this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards nominees, which included “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and “Goosebumps: The Vanishing” among others.
“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” was nominated in three categories, including Favorite Movie, Favorite Movie Actress, and Favorite Villain, with the film getting two nods in the Favorite Movie Actress category for Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder for their roles as Astrid Deetz and Lydia Deetz in the movie. Michael Keaton picks up the nomination in the Favorite Villain category for his role as Beetlejuice.
The Disney+ series, “Goosebumps: The Vanishing,” also picked up nominations in three categories, including Favorite Family TV Show, Favorite Male TV Star in a Family TV Show, and Favorite Female TV Star in a Family TV Show. David Schwimmer and Sam McCarthy were nominated for Favorite Male TV Star for their roles as Anthony Brewer and Devin Brewer in the series. Jayden Bartels was nominated for Favorite Female TV Star for her role as Cece Brewer.
Other notable nominees include “Monster High” for Favorite Cartoon and “Descendants: The Rise of Red” in the categories of Favorite Movie, Favorite Villain (Rita Ora, Queen of Hearts), and Favorite Butt Kicker (Kylie Cantrall, Princess Red)
Beginning today, fans can cast their votes across all 35 categories on the official Kids’ Choice Awards website, KidsChoiceAwards.com. This year’s show will feature exciting star-studded collaborations, legendary skateboarding stunts, the latest in music with high-energy dancing, Nickelodeon’s signature orange blimp trophy, and epic slimings. Musical performances and celebrity appearances will be announced at a later date.
