This week, Blumhouse Games shared a fresh look at Grave Seasons, the highly anticipated farming sim with a supernatural twist from developer Perfect Garbage. The “cozy horror” title is set to launch on August 14, 2026, for PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
In Grave Seasons, players step into the shoes of an escaped convict looking for a fresh start in Ashenridge—an idyllic town that hides a gruesome secret. While you’re busy clearing land and planting crops, a supernatural serial killer is busy stalking the residents. Your quest for a peaceful life is quickly derailed as you become entangled in a string of murders that threaten the entire community.
The gameplay balances traditional farm-sim mechanics—like harvesting crops, fishing, and mining—with a high-stakes investigation. To survive, you’ll need to uncover the secrets of Ashenridge and stay one step ahead of the murderer. You can even craft specialized items to ward off the encroaching evil and potentially save the killer’s next victim.
In this town, your social circle is a matter of life and death. Building trust through quests is the only way to unmask the threat, and your choices (or lack thereof) will dictate how the story unfolds. And for those who like to live dangerously: yes, you can even romance the killer.
Grave Seasons is available to wishlist now on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation.
