Indie publisher XSEED Games and Little Chicken Game Company announced Tuesday that Moonlight Peaks, the cozy vampire life simulator, will launch on PlayStation 5 on Nov. 17.
Since its July debut on PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Google Play Games, the title has sold more than 300,000 units worldwide. It has been well received by both players and critics, earning an 81 Metascore and an 88% “Very Positive” user rating on Steam.
In Moonlight Peaks, players step into the boots of a vampire trying to prove to their skeptical father that compassion is possible—even for the undead. Set in a magical town of werewolves, witches, and mermaids, the game blends classic cozy-sim mechanics with gothic flair. Players can customize a haunted cottage, master potion brewing, expand a grimoire of spells, and unravel the secrets of the town’s seven founding families. The gameplay also features a supernatural dating scene, though players must remember one crucial rule: return to the coffin before sunrise.
The PS5 edition arrives digitally with all post-launch quality-of-life updates included. PlayStation Plus subscribers can take advantage of a 20% launch-week discount off the regular $34.99 price tag from Nov. 17 through Nov. 23. Additionally, PlayStation Plus Premium members will gain access to a two-hour trial on launch day, with all progress carrying over to the full game.
