We’re only about a month into 2024, but Halloween prop and animatronic maker Distortions Unlimited has already debuted four all-new Halloween props for the new year: Scare Wolf Legend, Alien Spider, Wicked Witch Legend, and Scarecrow Wrath.
Scare Wolf Legend
Standing six feet tall, Scare Wolf Legend is Distortions’ static take on its Scare Wolf animatronic. The hand-painted, professional quality, life-size werewolf is made of foam-filled latex with an armature inside. The Scare Wolf Legend werewolf has a full head and neck but is flat-backed and features poseable arms. Scare Wolf Legend is available for purchase now from Distortions Unlimited for $689.
Alien Spider
The latest spider prop from Distortions Unlimited takes its inspiration from sci-fi horror. The Alien Spider features a brain-like thorax and a terrifying face sculpt. The prop is approximately three feet long from head to tail and has a roughly five-foot-long leg span. Made of latex and foam and filled with a metal armature, the spider’s legs can be posed and positioned to create various looks. It can also be hung or mounted using the included chain in the abdomen. The prop also features one red LED FX light that creates an eerie glow for the prop. Alien Spider is available for purchase now from Distortions Unlimited for $535.
Wicked Witch Legend
This static prop of the classic witch stands approximately five and a half feet tall and features a green, old, and gnarled complexion. The life-size standing prop is made of foam-filled latex with an armature inside, and is hand-painted, and features a custom-made costume and removable witch hat. Wicked Witch Legend features poseable arms and a bendable neck, allowing you to pose her in your display creatively. This all-new witch prop is available for purchase now from Distortions Unlimited for $574.
Scarecrow Wrath
Rounding out Distortions’ new props unveiled so far in 2024 is Scarecrow Wrath. This latest reveal is a seven-and-a-half-foot scarecrow prop sculpted by artist Tom Cassidy. The prop is made of foam-filled latex with armature and features a crow propped upon its shoulder. Scarecrow Wrath features poseable arms, fingers, and neck, allowing you to bend him into your desired pose. To add to the fear factor, the scarecrow features lit eyes. This all-new scarecrow prop pairs well with past Distortions Unlimited releases, including the Haunted Tree, Pumpkin Witch, and Jack Widow. Scarecrow Wrath is available for purchase from Distortions Unlimited at a temporarily discounted price of $692.
