After weeks of cryptic drops, Epic Games released the official Fortnitemares trailer on Tuesday, confirming a massive Halloween lineup spanning classic slasher fare, viral indie horror, and anime favorites.
Set to the Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location track “Join Us For A Bite,” the trailer showcases some original Fortnite Halloween outfits alongside an exciting crossover lineup.
New additions coming to the Island include:
- Freddy Krueger (“A Nightmare on Elm Street”)
- Slenderman
- Beetlejuice
- Lady Liberty (“The Purge: Election Year”)
- Freddy, Chica, Foxy, and Bonnie (Five Nights at Freddy’s)
- Asta (“Black Clover”)
The trailer also slipped in a quick post-title card teaser featuring the One Wish Willow from Curry Barker’s viral horror film “Obsession.” While online rumors have hinted at a possible Nikki skin, the quick sting confirms at least some representation from the film—whether as a cosmetic outfit, a map location, or a dynamic gameplay item.
Fortnitemares officially launches in Fortnite on Oct. 1.
