‘Ghost Haunting’ Brings Pixelated Mischief, Cheeky Demons, and Heartwarming Chaos to the Work of Point & Click Adventures

Daedalic Entertainment and Three Headed Monkey Studios are teaming up to release a brand-new, classic-style point-and-click adventure game called “Ghost Haunting.” The game blends lovingly hand-drawn 2D visuals with subtle spookiness and dark humorโ€”true to the spirit of genre-defining point-and-click classics. Developed by a new indie team of true 90s kids, the game offers a nostalgic yet modern take on the traditional adventure formula.

Players join 8-year-old Gigi on her journey into the afterlife, armed with nothing but her curiosity, questionable logic, and a talking pumpkin-demon named Baron Butt(er)nut.

During what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, Gigi stumbles upon the family secret: her grumpy grandfather, Giovanni, is a legendary ghost hunter. This revelation quickly spirals into a plan to bring back her late grandma from the realm of the dead. How hard can it be? Spoiler: very hard. And potentially world-ending.

With handcrafted pixel art and a quirky cast of characters, this game is a story that explores grief, growing up, and ghoulish missteps. “Ghost Haunting” promises everything players love about the golden age of adventuresโ€”without the frustration. The game features a built-in hint system, hotspot highlight, and a “Not-getting-stuck” guarantee.

Filled with puzzles and puns, “Ghost Haunting” looks to make you laugh, cry, and maybe question the ethics of interdimensional travel. The game is now available to wishlist on Steam. A release window has not been announced yet.
