On Wednesday, several new Funko Pop! figures arrived for pre-order, and among the latest wave of releases is a trio of Funko Pop! figures inspired by Rob Zombie’s “House of 1000 Corpses.” The new series of Funko Pop! figures includes the core members of the Firefly family, Captain Spaulding, Baby, and Otis B. “House of 1000 Corpses” was released in 2003 and is the feature film directorial debut of Rob Zombie. The film follows two couples on a road trip who stumble upon Captain Spaulding’s Museum of Monsters & Madmen. Intrigued by the local legend of Dr. Satan, they pick up a hitchhiker named Baby, who leads them to her isolated farmhouse after their car breaks down. They soon find themselves trapped by the Firefly family, a clan of sadistic psychopaths who subject them to horrific torture and murder.
The film was the first in a trilogy of films featuring the Firefly family. Other installments include “The Devil’s Rejects” and “3 From Hell.”
