Image Power Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Produce Expanded and Console Versions of ‘Haunted House Renovator’

Image Power has launched a Kickstarter campaign in an effort to gain additional funding for additional resources to improve its title, “Haunted House Renovator.” The game, designed to be both relaxing and spooky, lets players become paranormal renovators who must banish ghosts and restore haunted mansions to their former glory. The campaign’s goal is 10,000 CAD and runs through April 5, 2024.

Through the Kickstarter funding, Image Power intends to prepare console versions of the game, and if stretch goals are met, add a new type of ghost, create a unique soundtrack for each location, and expand the in-game content for PC and console players alike.

The campaign has several backer options, ranging from $1 to support the project to $5,000, which lets you design a new location for the game. A pledge of at least $15 will be needed to get a digital copy of the game on PC once it’s released.

Backers will have access to a preview of the game’s demo ahead of its public release and will have a chance to influence its development with their feedback. They will also have an opportunity to enrich the game with their own ideas, for instance, by commissioning their own painting that will be added to the game.

“Haunted House Renovator” is a first-person paranormal renovator simulator experience that plunges players into the heart of the supernatural. Players have the opportunity to renovate various haunted locations, each with different hauntings, possessions, and curses that they must deal with to transform them into inviting, liveable homes. Beyond tackling the supernatural, players have unbound creativity to decorate and renovate the location with wallpaper, furniture, and more.
