‘In Search of Darkness’ Launches Crowdfunding for Final Journey Into ’80s Horror

CreatorVC recently launched its crowdfunding campaign for the epic conclusion to its “In Search of Darkness” trilogy.

The four-hour-plus finale to the most celebrated horror documentary series in history will spotlight the straight-to-video horror classics that defined the era and give long-overdue attention to select theatrical releases the series wasn’t able to cover in Part I and Part II.

The trilogy will finish out as it began with an incredible cast of horror legends providing critical takes, insider tales, and unheard anecdotes. “In Search of Darkness Part III” will feature new horror icons like Dee Wallace (“The Howling”), Adrienne Barbeau (“The Fog”), and Julie Brown (“Bloody Birthday”), alongside returning favorites such as Robert Englund (“A Nightmare on Elm Street” franchise), Linnea Quigley (“The Return of the Living Dead”), special effects legend Tom Savini, and Doug Bradley (“Hellraiser” franchise).

Backing the project starts at just $69.99 and includes some incredible rewards, including:

  • Blu-ray with Slipcase
  • 3 Posters
  • Enamel Pin
  • Name in the Credits
  • Membership Card
  • Digital Copy of the Film
  • Digital Soundtrack

Additional, higher-end backing options are also available and start at $1,200.

The crowdfunding campaign for “In Search of Darkness Part III” will run through Halloween. If you missed out on Part I or Part II, both films will be available as an add-on when you back the project, along with a 3-disc slipcase for those who have collected all three.
