Hot on the heels of a successful global festival run—including stops at Fantasia Film Festival and FrightFest London—Sunrise Films has announced the North American digital release of William Bagley’s horror-comedy, “Hold the Fort.” The feature is set to debut on digital platforms on June 23, 2026.
The cast is led by Chris Mayers (“Ozark”) and Haley Leary (“Spookt”), who play Lucas and Jenny, a young couple who think their lives are finally coming together when they buy their first home. Unfortunately for them, they moved into the wrong neighborhood. Lucas and Jenny quickly find themselves in a fight for their lives when they become trapped in an epic, bloody battle between their Homeowners Association and an onslaught of monsters from hell.
Co-written by Bagley and Scott Hawkins, Hold the Fort takes the timely concern of homeownership and wraps it up in an entertaining, action-packed thrill ride.
“My goal with this film was to make a hilarious, fast-paced thrill ride while also telling a great story with heart,” said Bagley. “Hopefully, through all the blood, laughs, fights, and gags, you leave the film feeling inspired to tackle whatever life throws at you.”
Starting June 23, audiences across North America will be able to rent or own “Hold the Fort” on Digital HD across all major VOD platforms, including Apple TV, Prime Video, and Fandango at Home.
