After a global run to nearly 100 cities, Black Ink Presents, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, has announced the highly anticipated return of “Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert.” This fall, the production will embark on a 60-city North American tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the beloved cult classic.
Fans will be transported back to the Goblin City as Jim Henson’s 1986 musical fantasy masterpiece plays on a massive HD cinema screen. The experience offers a unique twist: a live band performs the full soundtrack in perfect synchronization with the film, featuring Trevor Jones’ iconic score and David Bowie’s original, isolated vocals.
“Watching audiences connect with Labyrinth this deeply has been extraordinary. From the costumes to the sing-alongs, the energy in every theater is electric,” says John Kinsner, CEO of Black Ink Presents.
Originally released on June 27, 1986, Labyrinth remains a cornerstone of the fantasy genre. Directed by Henson and executive-produced by George Lucas, the film stars a young Jennifer Connelly as Sarah and David Bowie in his legendary turn as Jareth, the Goblin King. The concert tour promises to breathe new life into Bowie’s hits like “Magic Dance” and “As the World Falls Down.”
Presale for “Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert” starts January 15, and tickets go on sale January 16. The tour kicks off on September 14, 2026, in Buffalo, NY, at the Riviera Theater.
