The shadows are getting a little more crowded at Nevermore Academy. On Thursday, Netflix officially welcomed three heavy hitters to the guest cast of “Wednesday” Season 3: Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones”), Andrew McCarthy (“The Resident”), and James Lance (“Ted Lasso”).

The trio joins an already stacked roster of newcomers for the third installment, which is currently in production. Most notably, they’ll share the screen with Eva Green, who steps into the iconic role of the “missing” Aunt Ophelia, alongside Winona Ryder, Chris Sarandon, Noah Taylor, Oscar Morgan, and Kennedy Moyer.

Jenna Ortega returns to lead the series as the deadpan namesake, backed by her formidable Addams family: Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia), Luis Guzmán (Gomez), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley), Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester), and Joanna Lumley (Grandmama).

While details on the upcoming season are slim, series co-creator and showrunner Alfred Gough says it will dig deeper into the characters fans have come to love, expand the world of “Wednesday,” and peel back even more layers of the Addams family’s darkest secrets.
