On Thursday, Netflix gave us our first glimpse into the world of “Stranger Things: Tales From ’85” and announced the cast of the highly anticipated animated spinoff of the hit series “Stranger Things.”
From showrunner Eric Robles and “Stranger Things” co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer, the series is set in the winter of 1985, taking place in the timeline between Seasons 2 and 3 of the original show. It will feature familiar fan-favorite characters battling new monsters and working to unravel a fresh paranormal mystery terrorizing Hawkins.
Unfortunately, the animated characters will not be voiced by the original live-action cast, introducing a new set of talent to the roles. The newly announced voice cast includes:
- Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven
- Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max
- Luca Diaz as Mike
- Elisha “EJ” Williams as Lucas
- Braxton Quinney as Dustin
- Ben Plessala as Will
- Brett Gipson as Hopper
Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo, and Lou Diamond Phillips are also joining the Hawkins adventure in yet-to-be-announced roles.
“Stranger Things: Tales From ’85” is currently slated to arrive in 2026.
