Netflix has acquired the rights to the Sundance feature “Run Rabbit Run,” a horror thriller starring Sarah Snook (“Succession”). The film premiered Thursday night as part of Sundance’s horror-centric Midnight selections.

Shot on-location throughout Melbourne, regional Victoria, and in South Australia’s Riverland region, “Run Rabbit Run” tells the story of a fertility doctor, played by Snook, who believes firmly in life and death, but after noticing the strange behavior of her young daughter, must challenge her own values and confront a ghost from her past.

The film was directed by Daina Reid and written by Hannah Kent and also stars Lily LaTorre, Damon Herriman (“Thai Cave Rescue”), and Greta Scacchi (“Darby & Joan”).

While Netflix has not set a release date, it has shared that the film will debut on the streaming platform sometime this year.
